MariaDb: Aborted Connections

#1

Gogs: v0.11.85.1225
MariaDb: 10.3.12-MariaDB-1:10.3.12+maria~bionic
System: Ubuntu Server 14.04.5
Docker: 17.05.0

I have Gogs and MariaDb both running in containers on Docker.

Sometime in the last week my Gogs installation started to reject my logins. The Gogs logs show nothing wrong.

[Macaron] 2019-01-28 00:23:57: Started POST /user/login for 192.168.1.254
[Macaron] 2019-01-28 00:23:57: Completed POST /user/login 200 OK in 48.956046ms

The MariaDb logs show an aborted connection warning.

[Warning] Aborted connection 817 to db: ‘goggit’ user: ‘gog’ host: ‘192.168.1.114’ (Got timeout reading communication packets)

I can login to the db using the mysql cli client and using phpmyadmin. I have a few other applications talking to the db and they are all working fine so I don’t think that the issue is clearly on the db side.

I have updated to the latest tag on both Gogs and the db.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas on how to diagnose or fix the problem?

Hi, I think this problem may be similar to https://github.com/gogs/gogs/issues/5532?

ok, but what do I do to resolve it?
