Continual message: POST /ajaxBuildQueue 404 Not Found

#1

I’ve been running Gogs on my home server for quite awhile now. I’m setting up a new instance – switching from one NUC to another NUC.

On the new NUC I’m getting a constant stream of output as so.

I’m running Gogs under Docker. I have a Jenkins instance that is polling several repositories on the Gogs instance to see if there’s a change, and if so to kick off a build. The Jenkins instance is not running inside Docker.

There is an nginx instance providing a proxy gateway in front of the Gogs instance. That is, I wanted to set up a simple URL (git.7gen.com) that’s pointed to my home network, and nginx gateways that domain over to the Gogs instance and build.7gen.com to the Jenkins instance and so on.

It is Gogs 0.11.36 – but I see 0.11.43 has been release. Was the Docker image updated?

Yes.

For the strange messages you see, I suspect you’re been attacked in some common way (if that’s not a program you started).

I sometimes receive attacks relates to /phpmyadmin etc.

Hurm… searching for “Jenkins ajaxBuildQueue” turns up a number of results indicating this is a known feature of Jenkins.

Maybe your Jenkins thought the URL end point of Gogs is Jenkins.
